Brenda Miller

Brenda Faye Love was born August 30, 1958, in Houston, Texas to the proud parents of Theodore Preston Love Sr. and Nettie B. Love, who precede her in death. Brenda graduated from Milby Senior High School. Brenda later married Barron Miller. Brenda accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at First Baptist Church, in LaPorte, Texas. Early in her young adult life she joined Riverwood Missionary Baptist Church and served as an active choir member. Later in her life she placed membership at New Destiny Praise and Worship Center, under the leadership of Dr. Ethen W. Olgetree, Sr. Brenda believed that a good meal could heal any sadden heart. Her kitchen was full of love as she prepared meals for family, friends, strangers, colleagues, or simply whomever was hungry. She was a gentle spirit that always said what she meant and meant exactly what she said. Everyone knew Brenda would be the peace maker that told it like it was but every word was in love. Brenda retired from Spring Branch Medical Center where she worked for more than 25 years. As a dedicated employee and friend, Brenda gained the love and friendship of many. Brenda leaves to cherish her memories two daughters Rhonda James (Edgar Sr.) and Tiara Miller (Henry); three grandsons that she adored Alledrian Drayton, Edgar James Jr., and Jaden Johnson; two sisters Erma J. Crawford (Elton Sr.) and Geneva Babers (Marvin); and three brothers Johnny R. Love (Linda), Michael Love (Wanda), and John Bradley (Crystal). Brenda also leaves a host of family and friends who loved her dearly. Preceding her in death is one brother, Theodore Love Jr. and one granddaughter Kortney Johnson.
