Caesarlyn Twarnette Walker

We little knew that morning. God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to loose you, you did not go alone. We will gather on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 11am at "The Tribute Center" located at 2103 Cypress Landing, Houston Texas 77090 to celebrate your life and to share in the memories you have left in our hearts. On September 6th, 1953 in Houston, Texas, Caesarlyn Twanette was born to Caesar Tyrone Walker and Audrey Mae Walker (nee’ Lane). She shared in a very loving home with her five siblings. They were raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and she accepted Christ at an early age. She would later join with the Interfaith Full Gospel Church in Houston, Texas. Caesarlyn attended the Houston Independent School District and graduated from Sterling High School. She was very active in school and was very proud to be a member of the cheerleading squad and a model. After graduation she attended the University of Houston. While in college she developed and interest in the field of psychology and later received her Master’s in the field. She enjoyed working with children and especially those that suffered from emotional and behavioral issues within the public school system. Caesarlyn never grew weary in working with others and found great joy therein. She was very active not only in the school system but in the church as well. She served in the Church Leadership Ministry. Life is a journey and she enjoyed hers. There was never a spare moment where she was not found doing for her family or spending time with them. Shopping, shopping, shopping...is where a lot of her time went, looking for things for  “Her Girls”, her granddaughters. She was a shining example of love and strength and her heart was always kind and full of love. The light of death is brighter than the light of day and on May 17, 2015, Caesarlyn heard death’s sweet voice. Death knocked upon her door and she answered, “I am ready to go” and she fell into everlasting sleep and is now with The Lord. She is reunited with her loving mother, Audrey L. Walker and her sister, Paula Rector. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted  children, Audra L. Smith and Elan Smith; granddaughters, Somiah Perry and Kayden Smith; brothers, Caesar Walker III, Rodney Walker and Terrick Walker; sister, Michelle Walker; four  nieces, four nephews, three great-nieces, six great-nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
