Charles Jones

On February 20, 1963, Charles Cobb and Bobbie L. Kennedy welcomed a spunky baby boy. They named him "Charles Wayne Jones."


He attended school in Bartlett, Texas and graduated from Paschal High School. He attended International Beauty Academy School with a cosmetologist license in 2004. He attended Tarrant County College with a Culinary Arts degree in 2014. He attended International World Student in Vienna, Austria as a United States Representative for Tarrant County College in November 2013.


He was a man of many talents which he loved to use. He loved to cook, do hair, and boss everyone around. He loved Pattie LaBelle, Reba McEntire, Whitney Houston, and Aretha Franklin. He was home to many people who needed someone. He would give his last for his family and friends.


He confessed Jesus at an early age. He was a member of Heavenly Vision Baptist Church. He transitioned to his heavenly home on December 2, 2020.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Charlie Cobb and Bobbie L. Kennedy; brothers, Robert Jones, Ralph Jones, and Melvin Kennedy; sisters, Edna Jefferson and Pamela Sanders; grandfather, Willie Lee Davis; uncle, Booker T. Johnson; best friends, James Jackson and Mark Smith.


He leaves behind to cherish his memory: sisters, Wanda Kennedy (Alfred), JoAnn Sanders, Debbie Passon, and Cynthia Estrada (Daniel); brother, William Kenedy (Tracy); aunts, Cherry Johnson and Charlotte Davis; uncle, Clarence Davis; special children, LaTanya Holmes, Cathy McKee, Sharon Davis, Tanisha Gibbs, Melissa Lewis, Katrina Barnett; special friends, Elwanda Mclenney and Erica Smith,; and a host of nephews, nieces, family, and friends.
