Clara Louise Williby Starks Moore

Clara Louise Williby Starks Moore was born on July 14, 1940 in Houston, Texas. After
1940, she moved to Fort Worth, Texas where she and the late Tommie Louis Starks Sr.
married. She attended and graduated from beauty college and worked in the industrial
field.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sonja Zoe Starks Jackson and her late
husband, Jessie Moore. She is survived by her four children: Tommie Louis Starks Jr,
Mark Stanley Starks, Christina Yvette Starks, and Patrick Reginald Starks. Her surviving
stepchildren includes Jacqueline and Patrick Moore, grandchildren, three great
grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Her surviving loved ones includes three brothers, Allen and Samuel Williby, and Tommy
Thompson, her two brother-in-law, Allen Brooks and Roosevelt Franklin, six sister-in-law,
Jean Wall, Haletha Brooks, Frankie Jean Williams, Madela Williby, Gladiola Swancy, and
Ernestine Starks.
Clara loved attending church, traveling, listening to music, playing tennis, and enjoyed
social gatherings. Clara was a spiritual loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and
friend. Most people knew Clara’s great smile, outgoing personality, and friendly nature.
