Clarissa Hill

Clarissa Love was blessed to the union of the late Sylvester and Juanita Love on September 11, 1951. She was reared in Fort Worth, Texas where she attended public and trade school when she decided that food was the meat of the soul and became a dietitian. Serving as a dietitian manager for over 40 years. As a young girl she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at First St. John Miss. Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Leander B. Moss. Clarissa better known as “Reesey” was a caring mother, Grandmother and friend to all that came into her presence. A compassionate woman of God who never entered a place without leaving a lasting impression. Not easily won over by some, but once you’re in; you were family. She was never one to complain, not even in her final moments. She loved her family and surrounded herself with their presence when ever possible. Hosting card games, planning road trips or just Sunday Dinners.  With a tearful eye on Friday February the seventh, twenty fourteen God sent his Angel to bring his beloved child Clarissa home, leaving to cherish her loving memories: Daughter: Christina Love; Son: Anthony Love; Grand Children: Anthony Love Jr., Haley Love, Jaiden Love and Kourtnee Anderson; Sisters: Betty J. Miller “Charles“, Dora A. Love, Anita L. Love and Janis L Humphrey “Michael“; Brothers: James F. Love “Linda“, Lawrence W. Love and Jonas L. Love “Kaye” all of Fort Worth, Texas. “Reesey” also leaves to cherish her memories, Albert Hill and Voila Bragg, Brent Smith, two uncles, six aunts and a vast host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
