Mrs. Constance Green Hamilton, 80, a retired housekeeping supervisor for Arlington Community Hospital, boarded the train bound for glory early Tuesday morning, Oct. 2, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday at First Pilgrim Valley Missionary Baptist Church, 2707 Miller Ave., the Rev. O.G. Hill, host pastor, and Bishop Mark D. Kirkland, eulogist. Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens. You may visit Mrs. Hamilton noon to 5 p.m. Friday as she slumbers at Serenity Funerals & Cremations and the family will greet friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 5500 Rickenbaker Place. Survivors: Her loving husband, Willie L. Hamilton; children, Rufus McDonald, Roma Washington III, Linda Jones (Ulysses), Patricia Tate (Jerry) and Paula Jackson (Lawrence); brother, Billy Green; sisters, Flosceal Smiley, Costella Weathersby and Johnnie Kirkland; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
