Debora Nelson

Debora, affectionately called, "Deb" was born on Sunday, November 4 in the fall of 1956. This bundle of joy was entrusted by God to the parentage of Thoris Palmer Jr. and Arlee Nelson , in the city of Fort Worth, TX. "Deb" matriculated on various campuses of learning within the Fort Worth Independent School District. Her elementary years were spent at George Washington Carver Elementary School. Then she went on to the historical Isaiah Milligan Terrell High School; ultimately, graduating from Eastern Hills High School in the spring of 1975. Debora loved to bake! She could make a pecan pie that would win a blue ribbon at any county fair. Baking was not only her interest but her pleasure. Additionally, she was very active at neighboring schools; often times volunteering where her nieces and nephews were students. Ironically, "Aunt Deb" helped to deliver and bring some of these same niecesn and nephews into the world. Aunt Deb loved and adored each and every one of them. Deb is proceeded in death by her mother, Mrs. Arlee Nelson; sisters-Jamie Nelson, Jacqueline Nelson; brother-Harold Palmer; grandparents- Wilma Nelson Calhoun, Theodore "Chuck" Nelson, Beulah Palmer, and Thoris Palmer. The memory of Debora Ann Nelson will forever be cherished in the hearts and lives of her dear father, Mr. Thoris Palmer; her siblings-Brenda Nelson and Cynthia Williams (David); 16 nieces and nephews, 27 great nieces and nephews, 1 great-great niece and a very special niece, Ms. Timeka Nelson; aunts-Hattie, Jenny, Rena, Celene, Helena and Donna; uncles-Tommie, Cecile and Darrell and a host of other relatives and friends.
