Elsa Michelle Archangel

As a young girl, Elsa was a talented young woman who enjoyed life and took advantage of every opportunity to learn, grow and pursue her dream
Elsa was a woman of many talents and after putting her corporate career on hold she was an active stay at home mom who was dedicated to being involved in her daughters lives. She continued to serve the Lord and her growing family and with that she didn’t forget to utilize her skills and steward her gifts. She worked hard to consistently pursue excellence in her home, family, work and ministry but she never prioritized her responsibilities over her family. As a dedicated mother she gave the best to her children. She valued the importance of creating memories and putting God first. She sacrificed her time and effort to make that apart of her family. She was always a gracious hostess to any family member or friend who stopped by, inviting them to stay, relax and rest. She was a constant source of encouragement, strength and support and she carried a presence of grace and displayed a signature of elegance and class. As a member of Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas she developed a passion for ministering to women and encouraging them to continue to grow in their faith and in their calling in their local church. Amongst all the work that she did she made space for her own personal pursuits. Elsa was a certified wedding and event planner for over 25 years and had the privilege to travel extensively.
She will long be loved and remembered by her church family, many classmates, friends and family.
Elsa has left and incredible impact and leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband, Ed Archangel of Keller, Texas; two beloved daughters, Raven Archangel Jones (Bryce) of Roanoke, Texas and Rachel Mariah Archangel of Keller, Texas ; her mother(s) Gloria Shephard Edwards of Colon, Republic of Panama, Sandra Moore of Augusta, Ga. Father, Hector Sheppard Sr. of Washington, DC. one granddaughter, Aleayah Jones, of Roanoke, Texas ; She also leaves nine siblings to cherish her memory: Sonia Edwards, Alicia Edwards (Carlos), Ingrid Edwards of Colon, Republic of Panama; Jose Simmons of Barcelona, Spain; Peter Sheppard Jr. (Sharona) of Arlington, Virginia; Tamara Rajah of Columbia, SC.; Leslie Lewis of Augusta, Ga.; Corey Moore of Augusta, Ga.; Debora Bartley of Brooklyn, New York; Barbara Bartley Adams ( Claudric) of South Orange, New Jersey; Also mourning her passing, three sister-in- law’s: Linda Archangel of Keller, Texas; Shirley Archangel (Whitney) of New Iberia, La.; Priscilla Archangel (Peter), of Northville, Mi; and a host of relatives and friends.
Elsa was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Bartley.; two brothers, Manuel Edwards, A. Horatio Sheppard, father and mother-in-law; Rev. England and Theresa Archangel.
