Jason Ford

On August 27, 1980, in the great Jazz capital of the world, New Orleans, Louisiana, a bouncing baby boy was born to Melvin White and Jaqueline Ford. The proud parents named their bundle of joy, Jason Ernest Ford. Jason and his two brothers, Terrence and Adrian, shared a kindred spirit of love and admiration towards one another that will span a life time. In 1998, Jason become the proud and honored graduate of Alcee Fortier High School. He was extremely excited. In Jasons past time he showed an interest in martial arts, earning a Black belt in Tae Kwando. When he wasnt practice martial arts, he could be found "burning" in the kitchen..he so enjoyed cooking. Jason was a very hard working person, often working two jobs at time while trying to keep up his basketball and football skills. To know Jason was to know he had a love of gospel music, after all he grew up in church singing in youth choirs. Sixteen years ago Jason met the love of his life, Ms. Christina Moore. The two were an ideal couple who shared a lot of great times with one another. The two were inseparablefor she loved and adored him and he was head over heels in love with her. Then the two had the best gift any couple could share with one another..they had a baby boy, Lil Jason, Jr. He and his sister, Jalashawn Ford were his heartbeat. Jason was the kind of person that loved life and people. He welcomed any opportunity to assist anyone at any time without hesitation. He was a positive influence on anyone he encountered. According to his beloved Christina, "he saved me from a very dark place with encouraging words". Long live the spirit and personality of Jason. For as one person stated, the pain of not having him here with us is unbearable painful, but I believe we are better people because of the time we did know him." On February 27, 2016, Jason Ernest Ford, Sr. feel asleep in the arms of his Savior and Lord and entered into heaven where every day will be Sunday and the angelic host will be sing for eternity. Always Remember as Jason would say "Someones opinion of you does not determine your destiny."
