Kenneth Hubbard

Services held on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 11am in the Chapel and visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 7-8pm at the funeral home. Kenneth L. Hubbard was born on January 3, 1964 in the great city of Fort Worth, TX, to  Harvey Whitfield and Vernita Marie Townsend. Kenneth was reared in a loving and nurturing family along with his siblings. Kenneth was educated in the Fort Worth Independent School District, graduating from Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School, home the “Wildcats”, class of 1982.  He continued post graduate studies at Tarrant County Junior College, now Tarrant County College.  At a point in his life, Mr. Hubbard relocated to the west, San Diego, California. It was there that Kenneth continued with his hobbies and interests in fashion designs, poetry, art, eating exotic foods, writing, reading and most importantly, spending time with family and friends.  Kenneth moved from his earthly home to his eternal rest on August 18, 2014. Those who await his arrival are his parents, grandparents, and brother-Clifton.  Kenneth leaves to guard all of his memories: his daughter, Vernita   Hubbard (Mark),  stepchildren; Victoria Christopher and Melvin Mitchell; his siblings, Cletis Earl Hubbard, Sean Townsend, Kevin Whitfield (Shawn), Phillip Whitfield (Crystal), Victor Whitfield (Patty), Brandon Whitfield,  Beverly Whitfield and Regina Whitfield; uncles, Charles and Ronnie Townsend, aunts Joanne Whitfield andCarol & Sandra Townsend, best friend & cousin,   Willie Johnson and former wife, Viola Davis.
