Larry Simpson

Larry Lee Simpson, 69, entered into the eternal gates of glory on at a local hospice on Sunday October 22, 2017 while watching the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers football game. VISITATION: Wednesday, October 25 from 12 noon until 5 PM SERVICES: Thursday, October 26, 2017 at High Noon in the Clarence Jimerson Memorial Chapel of Serenity Funerals and Cremations. BURIAL: Friday, October 27, at 9:00 AM at DFW National Cemetery. Mr. Simpson, who was a Philadelphia Eagles fan, was a veteran of the United States Air Force for twenty years. After his retirement from the armed services, Mr. Simpson went to work for Harris Hospital of Fort Worth for another twenty five years as a Patient Care Technician until his subsequent retirement. Larry never met a stranger. He enjoyed talking to young children and young adults about their goals in life. He would advise them to watch the History, Learning and Geographical channels. He would advise them to continue their education and to consider the military. He was a PROUD veteran of these United States. SURVIVORS include his wife Valeria; sons: Larry Simpson, Jr. and Victor James (Ursula); daughters: Terri Simpson (Mike Pendleton), Tina Dean (Patrick) and Patrina James Simmons (Vincent); brothers: John Lee, David Lee and Darryl Lee; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
