His Life...
Leonard met and married the beautiful Ruth Ann on Christmas Day 1961 and to this union was born two wonderful children, Daphonie and Anthony. He was a hard working and dedicated man and did all he could for his family. He enjoyed spending time with friends and was a proud grandfather to his three grandchildren and later eight great grandchildren.

January 3, 2017, he is now reunited with his parents; JH Hawthorne, Sr. and Gleenie Bell Shaw, brothers; Oree Hawthorne and JH Hawthorne, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories.
His beloved wife, Ruth ann, two children; Daphonie Hawthorne (Waynard Walker) and Anthony Hawthorne, three grandchildren; DeMarcus Hawthorne, Chuntay Hawthorne and Makayla Hawthorne, one sister; Glennie Grennard of Flint, Michigan and a host of other relatives and friends.
