Leticia Quintero

On September 17, 1963, In the little town of Reynosa Tamaulipas Mexico, an adorable baby girl was born and entrusted to Cecilio Sanchez and Franisca DeLuna Sanchez. The proud parents named their gift from God Leticia Sanchez. Her and her siblings, shared an unbreakable bond of love, But her best friend was her sister Patty whom she confided in and shared secrets. Leticia was educated in the Fort Worth Independent School district graduating from O.D. Wyatt High school.
Leticia later married her childhood love Victor Quintero and had two wonderful children, daughter, Christine Quintero and, son Joseph Quintero. Leticia was the most wonderful graceful caregiver any of her family could ask for. When she wasn't tending to her husband or kids she would love to go out to her garden and just enjoy the outdoors. When it would rain she would just sit outside and just watch the rain fall, loving life itself. Leticia loved to cook and host get togethers, just seeing her family made her the happiest. When she would clean she loved to sing along to Juan Gabriel "Amor Eterno" She could sing it all the time it was her absolute favorite.
Her grandkids, Logan, Ayden, and Ryan (Chim-Chim) were everything to her, but Ryan was her baby he would call her mom instead of grandma and every time he would spend the night she always had his baby bottle at bed time ready for him because he was always spoiled by his grandma like that. No matter what she had planned she would always put her kids first. Christine was her pride and Joseph was her joy. Her kids gave her so much life and patience, she wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
Jesus said, "I go to prepare a place for you and where I go, you may go also". John 14:3 On March 20th, 2017, Leticia Sanchez Quintero entered a prepared place for prepared people. She entered the Gates of Heaven where she has casted her crown at Jesus feet. Her life on earth, and surely beyond, is so well declared in 2 Timothy 4:7-8, "she fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith, now there will be in store for her a crown of righteousness
