Marguerite Bell Fleet passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the age of 80. She was born in Fort Adams, MS and a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge. She was a graduate of Capitol Senior High School, Spaulding Business College, and Capital Area Cosmetology School. She was a loving and devoted house wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Dr. Audrey K. Fleet, her parents, Rev. Lidell Bell and Mary Johnson Bell, sisters, Rena Mae Thomas, Vera McClain, and Lucy Wilcox, brothers, Rev. Lidell Bell, Jr., Oliver Bell, and Larry Bell. She is survived by a daughter, Joan Harleaux of Baton Rouge, a son Mark and daughter-in-law Vonja Shields Fleet of Frisco, TX, step-sons Kenneth, Warren (Diane), and Barry Fleet, a step-daughter Audrey Ann Fleet, sisters Barbara Ann Malone of Indianapolis, IN and Katherine Cox of Milwaukee, WI, a brother James Bell of Milwaukee, WI, sister-in-laws, Annette Bell and Camile J. Fleet, grandsons Malick (Robinette) Harleaux and Micah Harleaux, grand-daughters Shani Harleaux (Tracy) Suber, and Amber and Ashley Fleet, one step-granddaughter, Jana Fleet, five great grandchildren, Darion, Kyra and Zaria Harleaux, and Ryan and Dylan Suber, several God-children including Felicia Preston and Yvette B. Marsh, a special friend, Georgia Brown and devoted spiritual supporter, Minister Hattie Pidgeon, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation at St. Paul Catholic Church on Saturday, July 19, 2014 starting at 8:30 -9:45, Rosary 9:45-10 AM followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
