“Jesus said unto her "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whoever livery and believeth in me shall never die." Believes thou this?” John 11:25-26 A time to be born, Mary Anderson was  born March in Bayou Goula, Louisiana to James W. Anderson and Evelyn Anderson O’Connor. She grew up in a loving with her siblings; Louis, James, Bulah, Margaret, and Melda. A time to plant, Mary devoted her life to Christ and became a member of Austerlitz Baptist Church on June 1972 under the leadership of the late Rev. E Parker Sr. New Orleans La. She was a member of the Austerlitz Baptist Church Benevolent Society, also a member of the Beautifying Club where she performed many duties whenever she was called upon. A time to cherish, Mary met and married Mr. Author Harris She was a woman that enjoyed life to the fullest. She  loved people, whether he knew them or not, he never treated anyone as a stranger; he always received them as a “friend”. Mary was a hard working honest woman and she always found time to lend a helping hand to any one in need. A time to die, On November 17, 2015, Mary entered the heavenly gates and is now sitting around the welcome table. She was the last of all of her siblings to depart this life for eternity. Mary, Louis, James, Bulah, Margaret, and Melda are all now reunited along with their loving parents; James W. Anderson and Evelyn Anderson O’Connor and her beloved husband, Author Harris.  Leaving her legacy, Those left with fond and precious memories of Mary are a loving step-daughter, great-granddaughter, loving nephews and nieces, great nieces and great nephews and a loving host of relatives and friends.
