Maurice Mcdonald

On May 11, 1985, in the great City of Joliet, Illinois, a handsome baby boy was born to Maurice Dawson and Zena McDonald-Dawson.

He, along with his siblings, Ieshia, Cleveland, Tichina and Katrina, shared an unbreakable bond of love, friendship and admiration for one another. He was educated in the Joliet Independent School District and the family later relocated to Fort Worth, Texas.

Maurice was a very wonderful and outgoing person. He loved collecting antiques, various sports cards and memorabilia and of course motorcycles. Yet, the true essence of Maurice was his love and admiration for his family, especially his beautiful children; Maurice, Jr, Princeton and JaYyssa. He was very devoted to the care and well-being of his children. Whatever he thought he could do for them, he was found doing. Not only did he immensely enjoy spending time with his children, he also loved to get together with family and hang out and have a great time.

On December 8, 2016, the day I had to leave you, my life on earth was through. God picked me up and hugged me and said, "Maurice McDonald", I welcome you. Maurice is now united in Heaven with his Heavenly Father, GOD, grandparents; Harley W. Dawson and Esther Dawson, grandmom; Rose Titus Pruitt, uncles; Vernon Dawson and Paul Titus.

He leaves to cherish his memories his parents; Maurice Dawson and Zena McDonald-Dawson., children; Maurice Deshawn McDonald, Jr., Princeton Paul McDonald and JaLyssa Mone Roman, siblings; Ieshia Carter (Joshua), Cleveland McDonald, Tichina McDonald and Katrina Clark, numerous
aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
