Oliver Boone

Mr. Oliver Boone, was born to John Henry and Ines Wilson Boone, on August 8, 1941, in Commerce, TX.  He was reared in a family with much love and laughter along with his siblings, John Henry, Janice, Margie, Bryan, Victor, Timothy, Etta, Travis and JoAnn. He was a person that believed in, “a family that prays together, stays together”. Oliver was educated in the Commerce Independent School District, graduating from Norris High, in Commerce. “A time to love’….Ecclesiastes 3:4      Mr. Boone was the proud and happy father of Janice Boone and Deborah Bostic. His girls were the “apple of his eye”. Oliver enjoyed spending quality time and sharing life stories with both girls, teaching them everything he knew. “I am now ready to be offered”… II Timothy 4:6      On July 17, 2014, Oliver Boone, received his promised mansion in heaven. He is now reunited with his parents, his siblings; John Henry, Jr., Janice Boone and Bryan Keith. “I will not leave you comfortless”…St. John 14:13                                  Those left to cherish his memories are his children; Janice Boone and Deborah Bostic (Charles Austin), grandchildren; Antonio Boone, Jernisha Smith, Chinwe Okafor, great-grandchild; Alexis Boone, siblings; Margie Williams, Victor Boone, Sr., Timothy Boone, Etta Keno, Travis Singleton and JoAnn Gross, nieces and nephews; Kimberly Gordon, Veronica Collins, Benny Williams, Jr., Curtis Boone, Brenda Needum and Ruby Hicks and a host of       relatives and friends.
