In a Reagan, Texas on September 12, 1943, Jessie Williams and Thelma Boston welcomed a wonderful blessing from the Lord. A bouncing baby boy that they name Ollie James Williams. Ollie grew up in Marlin, Texas and attended the Marlin Independent School District, having attended the Historic Booker T. Washington High School. After school he later moved and made Fort Worth, Texas his home. Ollie accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. He worked for American Manufacturing for 23 years and coached several teams including the Berry Hill Bulldogs and the Fort Worth Super Stars. Ollie loved children and making an impact in their lives. On what would turn out to be a very lucky day in 1963 Ollie married Miss Pearlie Womack and they would go on to have six very handsome and wonderful sons. He loved spending time with his family and friends and barbequing for them. When he was younger he loved to hunt and just being outdoors. He was a wonderful husband and father who was adored my many. On November 6, 2013 while surrounded by his loving family the Lord saw fit to take His child home. Ollie is now reunited with his loving parents; Jessie and Thelma Williams. He leaves to treasure his legacy and cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife of almost fifty years, Pearlie Williams, six sons; Ollie James Williams, Jr., of Fort Worth, Texas, Billy Earl Williams (Rotunda) of Forest Hill, Michael Williams (Sharon) of Fort Worth, Bobby Leonard Williams (Victoria) of Texarkana, Texas, Tony Deon Williams and Derrek Williams of Fort Worth, two sisters; Odessa Williams of Fort Worth and Jessie Mae Williams of Marlin, Texas, brother; Earl Howard Williams (Linda) of Houston, Texas, fifteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
