Quantence D'Von Sims Jr. 5, heard the Master say, 'My child, your work is done, it's time for you to come to your heavenly home.' Service: A Spiderman celebration will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tabernacle of Praise Church, 609 Wichita St., Forest Hill. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. You may visit Quantence as he slumbers from noon to 8 p.m. Monday at Serenity Funerals & Cremations and the family will greet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Survivors: Father, Quantence Sims Sr.; mother, Laquisha Cook; sisters, Quanique Sims, Azia Young, Qua'Niyzah Sims and Emerald Young; paternal grandparents, Basil Williams and Willard Sims; maternal grandparents, Marion Searcy (Willie) and Leartis Cook (Sonya); great-grandparents, Jerlean Sims and Richard Young; six uncles; four aunts; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
