A time to be born On March 21, 1937, a beautiful baby girl was born in East Texas, Gilmer, Texas to be exact. The proud and esteem family named the adorable baby, Reavie Ethel Elder. Revie had a favorite family member named Aunt Tootie, who reared and taught her life lessons. A time to learn As a child growing up in Gilmer, Reavie was educated in the East Texas Public School System. Upon graduation from high school, Revie moved west to the great city of Fort Worth. A time to plant In 1998, Reavie retired from Fort Worth Independent School District, where she worked for over 15 years as a Bus Attendant. She so enjoyed working with children, talking with them about life and encouraging them to become whatever they wanted to become in life. Prior to seeking employment with FWISD, Reavie worked for a local catering company and a photography studio...after all she was a very regal lady with great photogenic features herself. When not working, Reavie delighted in playing BINGO, where she frequently won. Additionally, she enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for her family and friends. A time to die On Friday, January 22, 2016, Reavie Ethel Elder-Beasley, transitioned from earth to her eternal resting place. A time to mourn... Those left with fond and precious memories of Reavie is her god-daughters, Lutysha Diane Breedlove and Beverly Wiley; her sister-in-law, Myra Smith and a host of other loving family members and dear friends.
