Sa Taylor

“When I've gone the last mile of the way, I will rest at the close of the day; and I know there are joys that await me, When I've gone the last mile of the way.” SA Taylor quietly slipped away to be with her Heavenly Father, May 1, 2018 in her 106th year. A Jubilant Celebration of her Life will be held at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, 5312 Houghton Avenue. The Reverend Kevin L. Pullum is the Pastor and the Reverend Larry Mouton is the Eulogist. Mother Taylor will be laid to rest in Skyvue Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit Mrs. Taylor Tuesday 1:05-8p.m. with the family present 7-8 p.m. at the church. Mother SA Taylor was one of the oldest citizens of Fort Worth. Residing in the Lake Como Community for nearly 69 years, SA Taylor, was honored to be called "Church Mother" of Pleasant Mount Gilead. The family will take the same trail on the day of the service to the church that Mother Taylor took every Sunday to services, until recently. Left with precious golden memories, her son; James Lee Taylor, brother Alvin Jackson, grandchildren; Shuniqua Thomas, John Cox, Jr., Toni, Lucretia, seven great-grandchildren, other family friends, and Pleasant Mount Gilead Church family.
