Sharion Lewis

Funeral: Noon Monday at Serenity Funeral Home. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. “To everything there is a season; a time to be born”...Ecclesiastes 3:1 Sharion Denise Lewis, 56, of Fort Worth, died Friday.  She was born to the late Reverend Preston and Peggy Lewis on February 15, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas.  “When I was a child”… II Corinthians 13:11 Sharion graduated from O. D. Wyatt High School in 1976 and received a degree in Business Administration from Bishop College (now Paul Quinn College) in Dallas, Texas in 1980. “A time to love’….Ecclesiastes 3:4 After graduating from Bishop College, Sharion worked in various positions with Bank of America and retired after 21 years of faithful service. She was a member of Highland Hills Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.  While at Highland Hills, she was a member of both the Pastor’s Aide Committee and Usher Board.  Her hobbies included    watching sports, she was a proud Dallas Cowboy fan, going to the movies, eating at Luby’s restaurant and reading magazines. “I am now ready to be offered”… II Timothy 4:6 On January 2, 2015,  the Lord said “Come unto me” and our beloved  Sharion has now been reunited with her father and mother, Reverend   Preston and Peggy Lewis and her brother, Reverend Marion Lewis. “I will not leave you comfortless”…St. John 14:13 Those left behind to cherish her memories and caring heart are her     brothers:  Preston Lewis, Jr., Charles Lewis, Princeton Lewis sisters:  Janice Lewis, Minister Vickie Hernandez, Areil Lewis and Susan Lewis, several nieces and nephews, other close family members and many special friends.
