Tally Jones

Services will be held on Saturday November 30 at 2pm at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church 1401 Meadow Lane Terrace. You may visit Tally at the funeral home Friday, November 29 from noon-7pm and the family will receive friends from 7-8pm. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park Tally Oshea Jones was welcomed into this world by his parents, Robert and LaShall Jones on January 19, 1989 in Levelland, Texas. Tally began his education in Abilene, Texas later moving to Arlington, Texas where he played Varsity football, baseball and basketball for Sam Houston High School where he later graduated in 2007. Tally went on to continue his education at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Tally was an avid sports fan and loved the Texas Tech Red Raiders and Florida State Seminoles. He loved the Los Angeles Lakers and later became a Miami Heat fan. He and his momma were die hard Cowboy fans. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents George Jones and Mattie Brown, his maternal grandparents Hardie Demons Sr and Willie V Demons. Two uncles, Lorenzo Jones and Hardie Demons Jr. He leaves to cherish his many precious memories his mother LaShall Deniece Demons­- Jones of Arlington, Texas. Father Robert Jones (Jocelyn) of Houston, Texas. Five brothers, Donte Reid (Latoya) of Guam, Robert Jones II (Eunice) Bryan, Texas, Antron Washington of Levelland, Texas, Talon and Tsaiah Jones of Arlington, Texas. Three sisters VaLicia Cosby of Fort Worth, Texas, Crystal Kelly and Tiara Jones of Houston, Texas. Six uncles Willie Taft (Mary) of Lubbock, Texas, Terry Hall (Chassity) and Stephen Demons of Fort Worth, Texas. George, Curtis and Rev Andrew Jones of Wharton, Texas. Ten aunts Mary Taft of Lubbock, Texas Mary Pettie of Arlington, Texas, Yulonda Cosby and Janice Holland of Fort Worth, Texas, Marilyn Demons of Wolfforth, Texas, Denise Williams of Arlington, Texas, Josie Grice of Bay City, Texas, Annie Holloway of El Campo, Texas, Georgia Wilson (Rushell) and Deborah Howard (Ray) of Houston, Texas. Two Great Aunts, Doris Faye Manson of San Diego, California and Josie Shelton of Houston, Texas. One Great Great Aunt, Viola Coleman of Lubbock, Texas.
