Tempie Lee Love

Tempie Lee Love was born on October 5, 1962 to the parentage of Billy Jim Baker and Mattie Pear Vernon Baker in Coolidge, Texas. She had six sisters and one brother. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. She relocated to Fort Worth, Texas in 1981. Tempie was united in Holy Matrimony to Donald Earl Love, and to this union one child was born.


Tempie loved her family and friends. She also loved playing volleyball, spade, dominoes, and watching westerns. She was a member of Bethlehem Church of God in Christ where she served in the Watch Care Ministry.


Tempie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Earl Love; father, Billy Jim Baker; mother, Mattie Pearl Baker; sisters, Tennie Lee Ferrell, Vettie Mae Hayes, and Lillie Mae Morales; and brother, Billy Claude Baker.


She leaves behind to cherish her memory: daughter, Tempie ShaDawn Love (Kyron Dion Christopher); granddaughter, Kylah Dawn Christopher; sisters, Mattie Bell Sibley (James), Ida Clark, Lucille Baker; twenty nieces and nephews, and a host of great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
