Velma Lashell Lee was born January 8, 1965 in Fresno, California to parents Jearlene Lee and Johnny Lee. As a child Velma spent her early years in Fresno, California. In her teenage and young years she resided in Sacramento, California where four of her children were born.
"A Time To Love"
She moved back to Fresno and had her two youngest children; she met and married Almo Jackson. She was united in marriage to Almo Jackson in 1998. they began to build a life and legacy together and also bought their first home. She moved to fort worth in 2005 and bought her second home and met her mate 12 years "Mack" who was faithfully there until the end. Velma resided in Dallas/Forth Worth are until she passed away on April 11,2017
"A tIme To Learn & Teach".
Velma was an entrepreneur with skills, loan shark with 100% interest, she would loan you $20. get $40 back. That is how she rolled. She would give you a place to stay, but you paid now or later. She had a memory like an elephant, at any given time she would convert her house to gambling shack with house cut. She loved the life of luxury at the game room and her personal life. She was a go getter, a hustler, a gangster. She loved to cook large meals for family and friends. She took great pride pride in her culinary skills, she loved poetry; she wrote and recited her poems often. She would freestyle at will.
"A time to Mourn".
She was proceeded in death by her husband Almo Jackson, her father Jonny Lee, Brothers james Earl Caldwell, Gerald Lee, and Charles"Duggie" Lee. She leaves to charish her memory to her mother Jearlene Walker, Daughter Unique Jearlene Jeffery, her love like a daughter Christiana Marie Taylor,Wali Asmar ShakoorRamel Lee Piece Alam Polle Brothers; Preston Caldwell, Jonny Lee, Robert E lEe Jr, Ray Lee, Sisters; Theda Lee, Ella Padgettt, Two Grandaughter, Two Grandsons, Bestfriend Ruthie Lee, Merta Simons, Herman, and all her nephews and friends
