Vera Evans

Mrs. Vera Evans, 84, said, "Hush. Hush. Somebody's calling my name" on Friday, November 3, 2017 at a local hospital. VISITATION: Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 12 noon to 4 PM in the Clarence J. Jimerson Memorial Chapel of Serenity Funerals and Cremations. MEMORIAL WAKE SERVICE: Thursday from 7 PM to 8 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1188 Broad Street, Mansfield, Texas 76063. THE HOUR OF CELEBRATION FOR MOTHER EVANS: Friday, November 17, 2017 at the eleventh hour of the morning at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Pastor Michael Evans, Eulogist. INTERMENT: Skyvue Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, Texas. Vera was born June 18, 1933 in Marshall, Texas to the parentage of Jim Jones and Pearl Albritton. Vera moved to Ft. Worth in 1947 and remained here until called from labor to reward. She worked at Polytechnic High School as a Food Service Manager for a number of years. Vera leaves to cherish the memories and celebrate the life, sons: Larry Johnson, Kenneth Johnson and Gerald Johnson (Sandy); daughter, Stella Nabors; grandchildren; great grandchildren and great grandchildren.
