Barbara Ann Griffith, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the age of 66. She was born on November 22, 1958, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Katherine Spencer and Willis Griffith. Raised in a loving home grounded in strong Christian values, Barbara developed a lifelong passion for serving others and walking faithfully with God. Barbara dedicated her life to her family and community. Her nurturing spirit, thoughtful wisdom, and calm strength defined her presence. Whether offering kind words, helping a neighbor, or leading in prayer, Barbara exemplified a quiet strength that inspired those around her. She was deeply involved in Throne of Grace Ministries, where she served faithfully for many years. Her love for the Lord was evident in all she did, and her legacy of faith and integrity will live on in the lives she touched Barbara experienced profound loss in her lifetime, having been preceded in death by her two sons, Larry Griffith and Jonathan Griffith, both of whom she loved deeply and carried in her heart every day. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband, Marvin Banks, whose partnership and love sustained her through life's many seasons. Though their earthly journeys ended before hers, their memory remained a constant source of strength and hope in Barbara's life. She is survived by her one loving son, Dedrick Chambers; her four loving grandchildren: Danielle Chambers, Dedrick Chambers, Jr., Isiah B. WilliamsChambers, and Elijah Polk; her loving mother, Catherine Griffith; her brother, Willie Griffith; her sister-in-love, Linda Evans Jenkins; and host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends, all of whom were blessed by her unwavering love and faith. Barbara Ann Griffith’s life was a testament to faith, service, and unconditional love. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
