Charles Williams Charl L Williams was born in Waskom Texas on February 7, 1940. He was raised by his paternal grandmother Emma Williams. Charles Williams was drafted into the United States Army he was honorably discharged. He moved to Houston Texas, where Cheryl and Darren Williams were born. Charl L moved to Los Angeles California in the 60’s. He started working for an insurance company and had his 3rd child Benita. Charles left Los Angeles and moved to the Bay Area where he changed his name to Charles Leon Williams and started very successful companies. He had 4 more children, Lisa Charles Summer and Adrian. Charles set up several successful businesses in California to include Williams and Associates and several group homes for under privilege youths in the area. In the 90’s Charles moved back to Texas after brief stay in Florida. He met the former Doris Taylor and they married March 30, 2000 in Arlington, Texas. They remained a loving couple until the Lord called him home. Mr. Williams gave his life to Christ at a young age and attended the Potter’s House in Dallas and Grace Street Church in Arlington, Texas. Charles loved watching all sports. His favorite teams were the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers. He was a true Dallas Cowboy fan, he owned club seats at the Dallas Cowboy Stadium for several years. Charles had the gift of gab! He loved having great conversations with all was in his presence. He had a smile that would fill the room. He had a way with words that we will never forget. We know not to let the rabbit have the gun. If he said “awe” you were about to hear an ear full. We knew his fist did not have any names and could not be called back. Charles Williams was an amazing husband, Dad Grandad, Brother Uncle, Cousin and Friend. He will truly be missed
