Emma Lee Tipton

On June 24, 1942 Margaret Ephraim gave birth to a baby girl in Abilene , Tx and she name her Emma Lee. She later moved them to Odessa , Tx. Emma Lee meet Marvin Cooper while in school and together they made a baby girl and she named her Linda. Emma Lee moved her and her daughter to Lubbock, Tx . She married Julius Tipton Jr. She joined St. James Baptist Church as a very young woman under the leadership of Rev. Kado Lang where she serve on the Usher Board as President. She also taught bible study.
God gave her a ministry to reach souls through letters of salvation and to tell the goodness of God . If she new your address you got a letter monthly . She was faithful until her health decline. When her health begin to decline she moved to Ft.Worth with her daughter in February. She joined Coming Of Christ Full Gospel Church under the leadership of Pastor Mozelle Jackson until God called her home.
She leaves behind her sister from another mother Annie Moore , loving daughter Linda Hewett-Smith and Son-in-law Jimmy Smith. Grandchildren: Tosha Cooper LaGrone , Dennis Jackson Cooper, Corey Jackson Cooper , wife LaShaundra Cooper, Derrick LaGrone Sr., greatgrand kids : Derrick LaGrone Jr., Tahj LaGrone , Kianna Harris, Kendall Fair , JaCobey Jackson Cooper , and JaNaia Jackson Cooper , and 1 great , great , grandson. And many , many , loved ones.
