A time to be born… Hansel Cory Johnson was born on December 31, 1970, in New Orleans, LA to proud parents Hansel Martin and Adrena Johnson. He and his siblings shared an unbreakable bond of love. He later relocated to Houston, Texas. A time to learn…….. At an early age he learned about Jesus Christ and accepted Him as his Savior and Lord. He was a frequent visitor of The Church Without Walls in Houston, Texas. He attended school at Joseph Clark High School and later at Sidney Colier College.  A time to plant………… He met a beautiful young lady he loving called Shana. The two were wed on November 11, 2004. He was blessed to become a father and was very proud to have the privilege to later become a grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a great man, whom will be dearly missed. A time for leisure……. Hansel was a man of principle and was a very devoted and hard worker. He never missed work unless he was ill; and even then he would try to work. Within his first three months of working with the Detering Company, he was voted employee of the month. When he wasn’t working he found enjoyment watching Sunday Football. He was an avid 49ers fan and quiet as it was kept, an undercover New Orleans Saints fan. Not only did he enjoy watching football but he was a good player as well; and often joked about being a pro player one day. He had a very sweet spirit about him and was loved by all of his friends and co-workers. A time to die……. On March 2, 2018, Hansel Cory Johnson entered a prepared place for a prepared people. He is now united with his parents, Hansel Martin and Adrena Johnson; sons, Phillip Brown, III and Hansel Cory Picard and     sister, Linda Jones A time to mourn….. Those left with fond memories are his devoted wife Shanomae Johnson; children, Courtney (Justin) Picard, Justin and Chad Brown. sisters, Shelia Johnson Uritisicy (Lazarus) Brown; brothers, Kevin, Lionel, Joe, Billy, Lorenzo Johnson and Anderson (Shirley) Martin; grandchildren, Mahisai, Micahi, Justin Jr., Za’Cory Thomas, Corey and Carly Boykins and Tahvie Davis, brother’s and sister’s-in-Law, Philbert(Tina), Corwin (Tiffany),   Raymond, Nigel, Samatha, Fitzroy George Jr., devoted friends, Reginald Wallace, James  and McArthur Mack; and a host of other relatives and loved ones.
