Visitation: You may visit Kathryn noon to 5 p.m. Friday in Jimerson Chapel of Serenity Funerals & Cremations. Wake: 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Potter's House Fort Worth Campus, 1200 Woodhaven Blvd., Fort Worth. On October 15, 1954, in far west Texas, El Paso to be exact, a healthy baby girl was welcomed into the hearts of Thomas and   Catherine Miller; they named her KATHRYN ANN MILLER.  Kathryn came from a God fearing family where she was reared in the ambition of the Lord. As a young child and member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord. She did not have a problem letting anyone know she was God’s child. Kathryn was educated in the Fort Worth Independent School District and was a proud graduate of historical I. M. Terrell High School Class of 1973. She was a very active member of its Alumni Association; serving dutifully for as long as she could. After graduation, she enrolled in what was then, Tarrant County Junior College, to obtain an associate degree. Kathryn went from there to become an employee with General Motors, as an assembler, with over 30 years of committed service to them. She was active in its local UAW 276 and their Election Committee.  To know Kathryn was a joy. She was a great singer, swing out dancer, very devoted friend and the life of any gathering. In her spare time she would nurture animals when not globe-trotting across the continents to places like Rome, Puerto Vallarta and setting sail on one of her many cruises.  Kathryn continued her nurturing, but with her two sons, Jamil and Ernest. She was a very caring, loving and involved mother who loved her boys more than life itself.   On January 19, 2014, Kathryn fell asleep in the arms of the Lord   joining her parents and other loved ones in that heavenly mansion.  Kathryn leaves her memories in the hearts of her two adorable sons, Jamil Idris and Ernest White, her devoted sister, Tomi Price and a cousin, whom was more like a sister, Jacquelyne Griffin and a host of other family and friends.
