Latasha Witherspoon 40, died Friday April 14, 2017 in Arlington TX. She was born on November 5, 1976 in Liberal, Kansas to Benard and Frankie L. (Baker) Witherspoon. In 2000 Latasha moved to Arlington Texas.
During the time Latasha lived in Liberal, she graduated from Liberal High School then attended Seward County Community College majoring as a Certified Med Aid, CNA, CMA which she began her employment , with Sonic, Good Sam, Summit ResCareSDSI and Southwest Medical Center. After moving she worked at Forest Hill Nursing Home as a Med Aid, in the Medical Scheduling Department, Radiology Department, Ozark Bottling Co, Frito Lay, Tarrant County Department Health and Human Services, Imaging Scheduling and Healthcare Assurance.
Latasha enjoyed working along side scheduling patient for several doctors throughout the DFW Metroplex Area She was very determined to further her goal. When she was a baby she was a fast learner and she knew all the 66 books of the bible.
She confessed Christ at a early age and was baptized. Latasha grew up at New Life Church in Liberal. After moving to Texas she remain in the church as a member of the High Point Church, & Agape Christian Fellowship.
She enjoyed her music, reading the bible daily, gospel singing, playing her guitar, exercising. Her favorite gospel groups were her family The Racy Brothers and Pastor Washington and the girls.
Latasha always kept up with her best friends Linda love, Stephanie OKane, Lorraine Ortega, Angel Garcia, Tina Ward, and Heather Ward.
Latasha knew that when they met they would hold each other, they would be best friends forever, God put them together. The distance did not separate there bond between each other. Latashas aunts Dixie Curry and Cloria Taylor, Rondra Griffin, and cousin Lizabeth Alexander was special to her. She wanted to adopt all of her nieces and nephews.
Latasha leaves to cherish her memories her wonderful daughter Aja Johnson, parents; Benard and Frankie Witherspoon, brother; Isiah L Witherspoon, sisters; Rosalind Witherspoon, Kendra Witherspoon, and Laura Witherspoon, grandfather; James Witherspoon, step grandmother; Audrey Mae Baker a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her great grandparents Fred Baker, Richard and Mary Witherspoon, Frank and Mary King, Betty Witherspoon, George Baker, Mary "Mingo" Baker, grandparents; Isiah Zear and Laura Baker, Essie V. Witherspoon
