On March 19, 1956 in the great city of Fort Worth, an adorable baby girl was born and entrusted to Ruey and Katherine Sublet Walker. The proud parents named their gift from God, Linda Diane. She and her brothers, Don and Ruey, shared an unbreakable bond of love, friendship and admiration towards one another. Linda was educated in the Fort Worth Independent School district having attend I. M. Terrell, subsequently graduating from Poly Technical High School, class of 1974. At an early age, Linda accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord while her family were members of First Saint John Baptist Church, under the then leadership of Rev. L. B. Moss. In 1996, Linda felt of the Holy Spirit to unite with the Inspiring Temple of Praise Church under the leadership of Bishop Reginald Jordan. Not only did she united with the church but she was also a founding member and served as the churchs Administrator and Secretary of the Board for the past twenty years. Linda was a beautiful soul that loved God and His people. She daily exuded loved to all she encounter, whether at church working, or in the worship service or out shopping, which was one of her most precious things to do. Linda had such a pleasant and pleasing smile that it captivated anyone in her presence. As Administrator, Linda was a very positive, organized individual that exhibited professionalism at all times. Moreover, Linda was employed, working in various positions, with the City of Fort Worth, for over thirty-four years where she was a dutiful and conscious employee. Her final position with the City was working with the Human Relations Department. However, when Linda was not working she took pleasure in gardening, fishing, playing video games, shopping and enjoying people. She was also a former member of Fort Worth Inspirational Choir, Baker Chapel Music Academy and served with the Southeast Tarrant County Optimist Club. Jesus said, "I go to prepare a place for you and where I go, you may go also". John 14:3 On June 6, 2016, Linda Diane Bryant entered a prepared place for a prepared. She entered the Gates of Heaven where she has casted her crown at Jesus feet. She is now a member of the Heavenly Host Inspirational Choir where she is sing Halleluiah! Halleluiah! Halleluiah! Her life on earth, and surely beyond, is so well declared in 2 Timothy 4:7-8, "she fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith, now there will be in store for her a crown of righteousness". She is reunited with her son, Curtis, Jr. and brother, Ruey Walker. Those left awaiting the great coronation are beloved son, Curtis Lee Baylor, III; her adorable grandchildren, Cadence, Aden, Madisyn, and Cade; her loving brother, Don Walker (MaLinda); her handsome nephew, Don Walker, Jr.; her ITOP family, other loving family members and dear friends.
