Margaret Odoms-Gray

Service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at 1pm at Cooper Street Baptist Church 1801 S. Riverside Dr. You may visit her at the funeral home Friday, Jan. 17 from Noon- 8:30 and the family will receive friends from 8:30-9:30. Margret’s Life Journey Margret Ann Gray was born on December 31, 1950, in Cleburne, TX to Rosia Lee Stanford Odoms and Andrew Mack Odoms. She relocated to Fort Worth, TX at an early age. She attended Fort Worth Public School and graduated from Como High School 1969. Margret Ann married Charles Irvin Gray and through that union one child was born, Deann Mitchelle Gray, their proud and joy. Margret worked for the Durst Family for many years. She would then go on to pursue a career with the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame for over 12 years, until her health begin to fail. As a youth, Margret was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of her uncle, Rev. Sammons. Later in life she united with Cooper Street Missionary Baptist Church under the teaching and preaching of Rev. Mark Harris. On Friday, January 10, 2014, Margret took flight and joined her loved ones that are awaiting to welcome her in heaven, her parents, Andrew and Rosia Odoms and her loving brother, Roy Lee Odoms. Cherished memories are kept in the heart of, where physical  presence can be no more, loving and devoted daughter, Deann Mitchelle Gray(Bryson Wilborn) and her three grandchildren, Tony D. McKnight, Tayler D. Darden, and Ivia M. Johnson; nephews, Anthony Weatherby, Robert Cleveland and Scotti Choice; uncles, Rev. Calvin Sammons and Onzie   Belvin; a host of cousins, great-nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Adopted parents, Beverly and Smitty, and good friend Sarah Jackson.
