Michael Parks

On September 1, 1970, in the great City of Fort Worth, a handsome baby boy was born to William Lorenzo Crenshaw Jr and Ruby Nell Benson. He and his four sisters, Norma Adams, Brenda Jones, Natarya Jones, Nikki Jackson and his 7 brothers, Jimmy Benson, Broderick Parks, Daryl Crenshaw, Steve Williams, Joey Baxter, Darrell Williams, Reginald Jordan. Michael was educated in the Fort Worth Independent School District. As a student in school he enjoyed sports and being with friends. There was never a dull moment for him.
One of the most beautiful things about him was his heart, as it was like pure gold. He never thought twice about assisting anyone in need. He had a desire to give back and thus became a mentor and coach. He was a great listener and could solve just about any problem. People loved to be around him because of his genuine spirit. He spent a lot of his spare time doing a few of the things he loved. However, the true essence of Michael was his love and admiration for his family, especially his children. He was very devoted to their care and well-being. They shared a bond that pales in comparison to any other.
On April 14, 2017, a golden heart stopped beating, a beautiful smile at rest. Michael heard the call of his Master and he answered. He is now reunited with his Parents, sister Donna Benson and all those that have gone before him and are now at the welcome table.
Precious and dear memories will remain in the hearts of his three daughters Myesha, Angelisa, and Makail, two grandchildren; King Gonzalez, Carter Grimes, four sisters; Norma Adams (Darrell), Brenda Jones (Jerry), Natarya Jones ( Gary), Nikki Jackson, Seven brothers; Jimmy, Broderick, Daryl, Joey, Steve, Reginald, Darrell, Aunts, Carolyn Benson, Vernolia Benson, Shirley Jones, Bette Lewis, uncle; Adolphus Benson, Cousins; Anthony Benson, Kenyona Benson Best friends; Deion Davis, Sterling Hopkins, Larry Primus.
