It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Oralio Bernal III. A beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend, Oralio passed away peacefully on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the age of 47 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Oralio was born on July 31, 1977, in Slaton, Texas, to Angelita Trejo. He spent his early years in Quanah, Texas, where he graduated from Quanah High School. In 2001, he relocated to Fort Worth, where he built a life surrounded by friends and family.
Oralio was known for his sense of humor, warm spirit, and big personality. He loved making people laugh, spending time by the lake, and living life to the fullest. Fishing was his greatest passion, whether it was casting a line with his children or enjoying a quiet moment by the water with a cold beer in hand. He was also a talented cook and loved gathering with family to share meals and create lasting memories.
Oralio is survived by his children: Antonia, Brett, Edward, Abigail, and Desiree; his wife, Jennifer Bernal; and his siblings: Tracy, Jennifer, Javier, and Steven, along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will continue to honor his memory. He was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first grandchild, Noah, who is due in just a few short months.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Angelita Trejo, and his brothers, Rigo Trejo and Juan Bernal.
Though he may be gone, Oralio’s presence will always be felt in the laughter he sparked and every quiet cast by the lake with a cold beer in hand. He lived with heart, humor, and a fishing pole never far from reach.
