Ruben Arittie Howard

Ruben Arittie Howard was born to the parentage of Arittie Howard and Ruth Morgan Howard in Kilgore , Texas on February 11, 1948.  He grew up and attended the schools there in Kilgore..  Ruben accepted Christ as his Personal Savior at an early age and after relocating to Fort Worth, Texas he united with the  Fellowship Church under the leadership of Reverend Patrick D. Joubert.  You could find Brother Howard at the Church assisting in the upkeep of the Church.

Ruben met and married the former Brenda Joyce Williams and they were united in Holy Matrimony on April 2, 1968 and they have remained a loving couple until the Lord called him home.

Mr. Howard served his Country as a member of the United States Army.  After his service to his Country, he became gainfully employed with the Winn Dixie Corp. where he was a Forklift Operator in their Distribution Center for 27 years.  After his retirement, he became employed at John Peter Smith Hospital as a Psychiatry Technician.

On Friday, June 23, 2023, Ruben A. Howard peacefully transitioned from time into eternity.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: loving wife, Brenda Howard; children, Al Howard, Anthony Howard, Sr. (Terry), April Howard- Rhodes (Brannon) and Ebony Howard; sisters, Gloria Howard and Donna Howard; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends
