On July 9, 1950 a baby girl was born to S. J. Brown and Francine Brown in the city of Fort Worth, Texas. They named their bundle of joy, Valerie Gail.
She grew up and attended the Fort Worth Independent School District where she graduated from Milton L. Kirkpatrick High School and later attended Tarrant County Community College.
Valerie accepted Christ at an early age as a child and in her younger years she was a member of Wesley Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
She was an avid reader and had a gift of making everyone she loved feel special.
On Friday, June 13, 2025, Valerie Gail Guinn, peacefully transitioned from life to death. She is now reunited with her parents; sisters, Celestine, Denise and Sharon Kay; brother, Robert.
Those left to celebrate her life, her spouse, Reginald Paige; children, Soni Guinn, Le-jeral Guinn, Kandra Guinn-Boulden, Sharkara Guinn-Johnson (Rick); grandchildren: Kendric Guinn, Kenneth Guinn, Diez Spencer, Khyra Guinn, Brandy Johnson, Kandace Hyman, Brandon Johnson, Desmond Brown, Xavier Washington; siblings, Shearon Berry, Cleveland Brown; aunt, Ida Mae Mayfield; 23 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
